Hockey Odisha announces women’s team

Hockey Odisha has announced an 18-member women’ team for the 4^th Junior National Hockey Division-A Championship beginning at Bhopal from March 18.

The team was selected by the selectors of Hockey Odisha from the ongoing coaching cum selection trial camp at State Hockey Hostel, Rourkela. The camp which was started from March 5 is still continuing till the departure of the team to Mysore on March 15 from Rourkela.The state team is placed in Group A along with Hockey Haryana, Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Chhattisgarh Hockey.

The six-day event, organised by the Hockey India, would conclude on March 23.

The team: Kusumkanti Barla, Lina Tirkey, Sarojini Ekka, Sushmita Barla, Reshma Lakra, Reshma Lakra Jr, Rayaina Yadav, Jira Ekka, Nil Prajita Majhi, Nilima Minz (Captain), Elina Lakra, S Devi, Seema Lakara, Sonum Purty, Nomita Toppo, Anjilina Minz, Reshma Hembram, Deepti Lakra.
