Bhubaneswar: Owing to the prevalent monsoon trough, at least seven districts of Odisha will witness heavy rains during the next two days. India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar today issued Yellow Warning for the next five days.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre mentioned, “Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.”

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 33.5oC was recorded at Titilagarh and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 22.0oC was recorded at Nuapada in the plains of Odisha.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar.

For Monday (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.07.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.07.2023)

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy Rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bargarh and Deogarh.
