[In Pics] Odisha CM hosts lunch for NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today hosted a lunch for NDA’s Presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu at his residence Naveen Niwas here.

After meeting her at the state Assembly here today, the CM invited Murmu for a lunch. Odia delicacies like rice, dal, Baigan Bhaja, Alu Bharta and Badi Chura, among others, were in the menu.

Earlier in the day, Murmu received a rousing welcome after arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here and later escorted to the State Guest House. She also held discussions with MLAs, MPs and party leaders of BJD and BJP regarding the ensuing Presidential election., scheduled to be held on July 18.

Among others, Puri MP Pinaki Mishra and Union Mishra Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were also invited for the lunch.
