Inter-District Women’s Cricket: Second consecutive win for KIIT

The KIIT team of Bhubaneswar won their second game after they beat Ganjam by 10 wickets on the second day of the Odisha Inter-District Women’s Cricket Tournament here on Sunday.

Elected to bat first, Ganjam were bundled out for 33 runs in 20.5 overs.

Barsha Rani Singh was the pick of the bowlers for KIIT claiming 6 wickets while conceding only 5 runs.
In reply, KIIT won the match in 4.2 overs without losing a wicket.

At Ravenshaw Ground-1:

Balasore Vs Nabarangpur : Nabarangpur all out 51 in 35 overs.
Bowling (Balasore) : Sarojini Giri – 3/6
Batting (Balasore): Anjali Singh-18 not out. Baleswar won the match by 10 wickets.

At Sunshine Ground :

Koraput Vs Kalahandi : Kalahandi all out 120 in 34.1 overs. Suchismita Jena – 16, Nandini Chandan – 12
Bowling (Koraput): Ritu Singh – 4/7
Koraput allout 89 in 29.4 overs. Savitri Kanhar – 19 not out
Bowling (Kalahandi): Sarika Gua-6/18. Kalahandi won the match by 31 runs.
At SCB Medical College Ground:

Angul Vs Boudh:
Angul 86 in 31 overs.

Boudh 87/1 in 19.4 overs.
Rukmani Bariha – 10 not out. Boudh won the match by 9 wickets.

At Barabati Stadium :

Jharsuguda Vs Puri : Jharsuguda 136/3 in 35 overs. Sunita Murmu – 47 not out
Bowling (Puri) : Rojalin Mohapatra – 2/11, Jayashree Nayak – 1/17.
Puri 17 in 13 overs
Bowling (Jharsuguda): Kalpana Nayak – 3/2, Santosi Munda-3/5, Mamduha Nasim – 3/7. Jharsuguda won the match by 119 runs.

At Nimpur Sports Club Ground:

Deogarh Vs Keonjhar : Keonjhar 135 in 24.3 overs. Pinky Tirki – 20, Esrani Soren – 14
Bowling (Deogarh): Sukru Bari Balua – 5/46, Pratima Kishan – 2/22
Deogarh 12 in 12 overs.
Bowling (Keonjhar): Anjali Das – 4/0
Keonjhar won the match by 123 runs.

Sambalpur got walkover as Nuapada team did not report while Bargarh team got walkover in the absence of the Rayagada team.
