Jacqueline Fernandez is lying, gave her sister $180k while her parents got Maserati, Porsche: Conman

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been accused of ‘not telling the truth’ to the Enforcement Directorate by multimillionaire conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Chandrasekhar is currently under the custody of Delhi Police and is facing prosecution in a sensational Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Chandrasekhar contradicted Fernandez’s claims and told the ED that he had transferred $180,000 to her sister Geraldine who resides in the US instead of $150,000 as claimed by the Bollywood diva.

Chandrasekhar and another person named Leena Maria Paul were recently arrested by the ED under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) over an alleged extortion scam being run from Tihar Jail.

Chandrasekhar told ED that he had gifted the actress very expensive jewellery worth crores of rupees.

“I have gifted her 15 earrings, five Birkin bags and other bags from YSL, Gucci… I also gifted her Cartier bangles and Tiffany bracelets. These jewellery and earrings are diamond-studded and approximately Rs 7 crore,” Chandrasekhar told the ED.

Refuting Fernandez’s earlier claim that he had donated $150,000 to her sister, Chandrasekhar said:  “No, she is not telling the truth. Through Deepak Ramnani (who has also been arrested), I transferred $180,000 and BMW (X5) to Geraldine.”

“As far as (her) parents are concerned, I gifted them a Maserati, and a Porsche to her mother in Bahrain. I also allowed Jacqueline to frequently use a private jet which I was using,” he added.

Meanwhile, Fernandez in her conversation with the ED said that Chandrasekhar approached her by pretending to be the owner of Sun TV.

“Shekhar told me that he is a big fan. Soon he told me that I should movies in south India and that Sun TV is producing many such movies. Since February, I was in touch with him. He gave me his number… and asked me to make calls on this number,” Fernandez said.

The ED also recorded the statement of Shan, the make-up artist of Jacqueline. The probe agency has collected a number of more evidence in this case, and few persons are on its radar. According to sources, they will be summoned in the coming days.
