Bengaluru: Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru after he suffered a heart attack today.

Sources said that the actor is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

A few hours ago, the 46-year-old Puneeth had wished his brother Shiva Rajkumar, filmmaker A Harsha and entire unit on his Twitter handle for newly released film 'Bhajarangi 2'.

Puneeth, popularly known as Appu, is the son of legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar and producer Parvathamma Rajkumar.
