Madhusudan Pati to get top Odisha Sahitya Akademi award

Eminent litterateur Dr Madhusudan Pati will be awarded the highest literary award of Odisha, Atibadi Jagannath Das award for the year 2015.

The decision was taken today at the Executive Council meeting of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi, the apex literary organization of the state.

The Council also announced the Odisha Sahitya Akademi awards for the years 2011 and 2012.

While Satyapriya Mahalik has been nominated for the award in the novel category for the year 2011, Sharada Prasad Mishra has been nominated in the short stories category and Pitamber Tarai has been nominated in the poetry category.

While Nabakishore Raj has been nominated for novel category for the year 2012, Ajay Swain has been selected in the short stories category and Haraprasad Parichha Patnaik for poetry.
