Minister, Netas availed ‘secret room’ services at Sunshine school, alleges student

Balalngir: Trouble seems to be mounting for Minister of State (MoS) Home Dibya Shankar Mishra as a student of Sunshine Model School, Mahaling in Kalahandi district today levelled a serious allegation against him in connection with Mamita Meher murder case.

Requesting anonymity, the student claimed that the minister and few leaders of the ruling party used to visit the ‘dark room’ of the educational institution. On numerous occasions, they even spent night there. He further alleged that girl students were taken to the secret room whenever the men in power visit the school. Sometimes, few girls were taken to Bhubaneswar.

“Though students did know about all illicit activities, no one was given a chance to protest against the same. The students were threatened of termination and deduction of marks in examination, if they disclose anything,” the student added.

Earlier, another student of the institution had alleged that the Minister used to visit the girls hostel of the educational institution, where Govind Sahu, president of the school management committee and prime accused in the murder case, ran a sex racket.

“Govind Sahu used to stay at the girls hostel, most of the time. We have spotted his two-wheeler parked in front of the hostel,” the student had alleged.
