Mentally challenged woman from Odisha rescued in Chennai

The Chennai police has rescued a mentally challenged woman, believed to have been from Odisha.

The woman, who was rescued from CMBT Bus Stand on Tuesday evening, belongs to Odisha, informed the assistant police commissioner, Koyambedu range, to the Odisha police in a message.

He, however, said that the police could not elicit more information from the woman about her place of origin or family.

“If any person is willing to know or provide more information about the woman, he or she can contact Assistant Commissioner of Police, Koyambedu Range, District-Anna Nagar, Chennai (Tamil Nadu) Pin-600107”, he said.
