‘Mentally-challenged’ youth electrocuted to death at Cuttack Railway Station

Cuttack: In an unfortunate incident, a youth was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a live electricity cable on a platform at Cuttack Railway Station here on Friday.

The deceased, who is yet to be identified, was said to be mentally-challenged.

As per information, the youth climbed atop a stationary goods train loaded with coal on Platform-7  at the railway station.  Apparently, he caught hold of an overhead high voltage electricity cable after climbing atop the train. He died of electrocution on the spot. 

On receiving the information, Cuttack GRP personnel reached the spot and recovered the body.
