Mild earthquake hits Odisha’s Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: A low intensity earthquake today hit Daspalla area in Nayagarh district triggering panic among residents.

According to reports, people felt the tremors at around 11.20 am. The mild tremors were felt twice for a duration of 5 second each. However, no casualty has been reported.

Following the tremors, people were seen moving out of their houses in panic.

Last month, a mild earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale had hit Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts.
