Minimal rain across coastal Odisha

Sporadic rainfall has been recorded in some parts of north and south Odisha districts under the influence of a low pressure.

While there was minimal rainfall in the coastal districts,  other parts of the state received moderate rainfall.

However, there has been heavy rainfall at a few places.

The Met office has forecast rain or thundershower in many places with heavy rainfall at one or two places in the interior Odisha in the next 24 hours.

According to the evening bulletin of the local Met office here, Bolangir received the highest rainfall of 83.8 mm in the last 24 hours (till 5.30 PM today).

The railfall recorded at other centres in the state is as follows: Baleswar (14.3), Cuttack (21.2), Puri (12), Baripada (42), Jharsuguda (56), Keonjhar (25.9), Sambalpur (45.8), Sundargarh (35.2), Bhawanipatna (15), Koraput (26), Phulbani (37.3), Titlagarh (16.1), Malkangiri (36) and Sonepur (20).
