Missing posters of Odisha MP found in state capital; here’s how she reacts

Bhubaneswar:  Missing posters of BJP National Spokesperson and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi were found on walls in the state capital today.

The posters carrying a picture of the Parliamentarian with ‘missing’ written on it questioned as to why she has kept quite over the controversial heritage bye-laws framed for two temples in Ekamra Kshetra: Brahmeswara and Ananta Basudeba temples prohibiting construction works around the shrines.

“The draft bye-laws for Ekamra Kshetra still remains in force. The Centre is conspiring to destroy the existence of the prominent heritage site of the state,” the posters alleged questioning the silence of the Bhubaneswar MP.

In reaction, the people’s representative said she will take necessary steps regarding the draft notification on heritage bye-laws once she returns on February 15.

Glad that Bhubaneswar is missing me. I am in Delhi due to the ongoing Parliament session. I will return on February 15 and take necessary steps regarding the draft notification on heritage bylaws for Lingaraj Temple.”
