NIRF Ranking 2021: Three universities from Odisha in top 100

Bhubaneswar: Three premier educational institutions from Odisha found place in top 100 list of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) under university category.

As per the NIRF Rankings 2021 released by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, Bhubaneswar-based Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan was ranked 20th in the list followed by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).

The State-run Utkal University was placed in 87 in top 100 NIRF ranking.

This apart, four institutions from Odisha have been placed in the overall category of NIRF Ranking this year.

While Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) was figured in 37th position, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was ranked 39th, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela in 41st and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar was placed in 58th in overall category.

This year NIRF has released the sixth annual ranking list of higher educational institutes of the country.

The rankings for all colleges and universities across the country have been decided by the Ministry of Education based on teaching, learning, and resources; research and professional practice, graduation outcome; outreach and inclusivity; and peer perception.
