Nitrogen gas cylinder explosion leaves 3 workers critical in Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: A nitrogen gas cylinder exploded at a stone crusher unit near Bhutiabahal village under Deogaon police limits in Odisha’s Balangir district today leaving three workers critically injured.

The victims have been identified as Vikash Patra, Bapi Bagdi and Rajeev Bagdi. All of them hail from West Bengal.

According to reports, the mishap took place when the cylinder was being filled with nitrogen gas.

They were rescued and admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital here in a critical condition for treatment.
