Odisha girl makes it to Femina Miss India finals

Odisha girl Sushree Shreya Mishra has made it to the grand finale of Femina Miss India-2015 to be held on March 28. She has found place among the 21 finalists vying for the crown.

The dusky small town dame from the western Odisha town of Sambalpur has participated and won many beauty pageants.

Starting her modelling career quite early, she won the Asian Super Model-2010, Miss Friendship International 2010, Asia Model Festival Award 2011 and was among the top seven contestants in the Femina Miss Diva 2013 contest. Besides, she entered the final round of ‘I Am She 2010′ held in Mumbai for Miss Universe India.

Earlier, Shreya was crowned the Miss SPM and Miss Delhi Times too. This apart, she was among the five finalists of Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2010.

Her family members have appealed to the people in the state and elsewhere to vote for Sushree Shreya Mishra by clicking on the ‘Like’ option, sharing or commenting on her page on social networking site Facebook.

While her father, Kishore Kumar Mishra, is a Lieutenant Colonel in Defence services posted at Ranchi, her mother, Sabita Rani Panda is a Vigilance Inspector in Sambalpur.

Sushree completed her schooling from St Joseph Convent School in Sambalpur and did her intermediate from BJB College here. Then she moved to Delhi for her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology (Hons) at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College under Delhi University.

Besides her inclination towards the glam world, she was bright in sports and cultural activities too. During her school days, she has won state-level sub-junior title in swimming, medals in horse riding and many trophies in Odissi dance competitions.
