Bhubaneswar: A day after announcing the reopening of schools from February 7, the Odisha Government today issued timing of classes for the students of Standard 1 to 12.
The School and Mass Education Department has fixed the timing of classes for students of Standard 9 to 12 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, the timing of classes for students of Standard 1 to 8 has been fixed from 9 am to 1 pm.
As per the instruction of the department, dry ration under the Midday Meal (MDM) program will be supplied to the eligible students until further orders.
For Students reading from Class-I to VIII, the Teaching hours are from 9.00 am to 1.00 p.m. As per the instructions of the Dept, Dry Ration under MDM program will continue to be supplied to the eligible students until further orders.

The state government had yesterday announced regarding reopening of schools, colleges and universities from February 7 with adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
While classroom teaching at colleges, universities and schools (for students of class-8 and above) will resume from February 7, the same for students of KG to class-7 will begin from February 14.
Short-term training and skill development training centres will also reopen from February 7.
