Odisha man chops off thumb for long rule of Modi

Kendrapara: A 45-year-old man from Odisha’s Kendrapara today chopped off his thumb and offered it to Lord Hanuman for long rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to sources, the obsessed man had attempted to chop off his thumb yesterday, but in vain as few BJP supporters prevented him from doing so.

However, the man identified as Sasikanta Sahu succeeded in his mission this morning. He went to Baladev Jew temple at Icchapur in the district and severed his left thumb near a pond besides a peripheral deity.

The fanatic shouted slogans for uninterrupted reign of Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre. While the body part was found lying on the ground, the man ran away from the spot.
