Odisha ministers resign en masse ahead of Cabinet reshuffle

Bhubaneswar: All ministers in Odisha resigned from their posts today as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is set to reshuffle Cabinet tomorrow.

Official sources said that Planning and Convergence, Commerce and Transport Minister Padmanabh Behera, Information & Public Relations, Water Resources Minister Raghunandan Das, Steel and Mines, Works Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik, Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak have resigned so far on the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Meanwhile, Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro resigned from his post.

Source said that CM Patnaik has asked all his ministers to resign from their positions ahead of the Cabinet reshuffle.

The newly appointed ministers will be sworn-in at 11.45 am tomorrow.
