Bhubaneswar: Pipili MLA Pradeep Maharathy has tested positive for COVID-19, the legislator informed last night.

Maharathy urged those who came in contact with him during the last few days to undergo COVID-19 test, if required.

Worth mentioning, all MLAs will undergo COVID-19 test before the commencement of the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly from September 29.

The legislators will undergo COVID-19 test two days before the beginning of the assembly session. RT-PCR tests of the MLAs will be done and those testing negative for the virus will be allowed to participate in the proceedings.
