Odisha polls: Trinamool announces candidates for 3 LS, 14 Assembly seats

Bhubaneswar, Mar 20:

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) today announced candidates for three Lok Sabha and 14 Assembly constituencies in Odisha for the first phase polls.

While Manoj Choudhury will contest the Berhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Banshidhar Tripathy and Ashok Mittal will contest Aska and Bargarh Lok Sabha seats respectively.

The Assembly candidates are Kumar Behera (Atabira), Rohit Kumar Sahu (Bijepur), Harihar Sahu (Hinjili), Anand Rao Achari (Berhampur), Haldhar Karji (Mohana), Mahendra Patra (Jeypore),B Dandapani Patra (Bhanjanagar), Subash Chandra Nayak (Jharsuguda), Lelin Lenka (Patakura), Sikshyanshu Lenka (Mahakalpada), Sankuna Kahar (Khalikote), Chandrika Das (Kabisurya Nagar), Sujit Pradhan (Paralakhemundi) and Bruhaspati Khamary (Bhatli).

Announcing the names, TMC state convener Arya Kumar Jnanendra said the second list of candidates will be announced shortly.
