Odisha releases guidelines for Nov; night curfew to continue

Bhubaneswar: In order to normalise economic activities in Odisha, the State government today said shops and malls will be allowed to remain open from 5 AM to 10 PM every day during the unlock period.

While issuing the Covid guidelines for the month of November, the government said the graded unlocking will be on from 5 AM of November 1, 2021 till 5 AM of December 1, 2021.

All religious festivals/festivities/functions shall be held as per orders of the government issued on August 9, 2021, the Special Relief Commissioner’s office statement added.

Though there will be no weekend shutdown across the State, the night curfew will continue in urban areas of the State. The night curfew timing is 10 PM to 5 AM every day.

The SRC said a separate guideline on sale and use of firecrackers during the festive month will be issued separately.
