Odisha: Sishu Bhawan shuts OPD after detection of COVID case

Cuttack: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishu Bhawan) in Odisha's Cuttack shut its Outpatient Department (OPD) today, a day after a person at the healthcare facility tested positive for COVID-19.

The OPD will remain shut till further orders, said Sishu Bhawan superintendent Dr Saroj Satpathy.

Worth mentioning, seven COVID cases from SCB Medical College and Hospital here and one positive case from the Sishu Bhawan were detected yesterday. The two healthcare centres have been sanitised by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
