Phulbani: The Kandhamal district administration has been piloting a new technology by using drones to transport medicines and vaccines to remote areas.

Shalini Pandit, Health Department Secretary, during her visit to the district today appreciated the innovativeness which will be beneficial for many people.

The official also met Jaga, the conjoined twins survivor, and his family members at Phulbani.

Taking the use of technology for public service to a whole new level, a Sarpanch had earlier used a drone to deliver pension to a divyang person at the latter’s doorstep in Nuapada district.
