One more area declared micro containment zone in Odisha’s Steel City

Rourkela: Following detection of more number of COVID-19 positive cases, the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) today declared one more area as Micro Containment Zone.

Issuing a fresh order, RMC Commissioner Dibyajyoti Parida declared PF Colony of Industrial Estate as Micro Containment Zone. Several measures will be taken for active contract tracing and to contain further spread of the virus in the area.

As part of the measures, all vehicular movements, both public transport and personal movement will be stopped in the area. All inhabitants within the containment zone will strictly remain indoors. However, supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the urban local body.
