One more MLA tests COVID-19 positive in Odisha

Dhenkanal: MLA of Dhenkanal Assembly Constituency Sudhir Kumar Samal and his Personal Security Officer (PSO) tested positive for COVID-19.

The legislator took to his Twitter handle to inform this and requested all those who have come in contact with both of them in last couple of days to isolate themselves and get the test done.

“After developing mild symptoms, Samal underwent the test and his reports came out positive. He is under home isolation now,” sources close to the MLA said.

Earlier, several MLAs including Bhubaneswar (North) legislator Susant Rout, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda, Chandbali MLA Byomakesh Ray, Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and Minister Sushant Singh, Minister Tukuni Sahu had tested positive for the virus.
