Bhubaneswar: Total 13,043 students have applied to appear in the Plus 2 offline examination, informed the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) here today.

Earlier on September 2, the council had announced that Class 12 students, who were unhappy with their marks allotted to them on basis of alternate assessment, can register themselves for Annual Higher Secondary (Special) Examination, 2021 offline.

The CHSE had also clarified that no examination or registration fees will be collected from students. The last date for the registration on SAMS e-Space was September 9.

“Those who will appear for the annual offline (special) examination will have to forego the present results. Results of the offline examination, will be final,” CHSE had stated.

The examination will be held only for major papers, to be decided on the basis of the number of students registering for the same. Marks in all other papers will be awarded on the basis of the marks secured in the major papers as decided by the Council.
