Police to take gangster Hyder on 7-day remand

Cuttack: The Mangalabag police will take gangster Sk Hyder on remand for seven days from tomorrow as the JMFC Court here today granted permission for the same.

The gangster, who had escaped from police custody while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College & Hospital here on April 10, was yesterday nabbed by the Commissionerate Police from Sangareddy district in Telangana.

Hyder was today brought back to Odisha and produced before the court. He was later sent to the Choudwar Circle Jail here.
