Raman Singh to campaign for BJP on Monday, Venkaiah Naidu to follow

Former BJP national president M Venkaiah Naidu and Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh are scheduled to address public meetings in the western Odisha districts on Monday for the first phase elections scheduled on April 10.

According to sources in the BJP, the Chhattisgarh chief minister would reach Talasara in Sundargarh Lok Sabha constituency by helicopter and address a rally at the Karamdishi High School ground on Monday at 11 AM.

After the Talsara rally, Singh would address two public meetings at Panchagaon and Baragaon under Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency at 11.30 AM and 2.15 PM respectively.

Later, he would address a meeting at Papadahandi High School under Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituency at 4.30 pm.

Party sources said the former BJP president Venkaiah Naidu would arrive in Bhubaneswar on Monday morning at 7 am and after addressing a press conference here will head for Jeypore. He will be in Rayagada next to address an election meeting around noon. He is also secheduled to address two meetings in Gunupur and Parlakhmundi at 1.15 and 2.30 pm. He will then return to Jeypore to address yet another meeting there at 4.30 pm.
