Sex racket busted in Odisha capital; 2 women rescued, 2 held

Bhubaneswar: Twin City Commissionerate police today busted a sex racket running in a building here Odisha capital, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the premises located under Lingaraj police station here and rescued two women, sources said.

According to police, Khursida Khatoon (22) from Kolkata in West Bengal and Pratima Mallik (40) of Choudwar in Cuttack were alleged involved in the flesh trade.

While two persons were detained during the raid, another managed to escape, the sources added.

The two detained persons were identified as Seik Ajij of Kolkata and Subash Behera from Kendrapara district.

A case has been registered in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
