Bhubaneswar: A messiah of needy people and Hindi film actor Sonu Sood today came forward to extend humanitarian support to the victims of the tragic 3-train accident that took place on June 2 evening near Bahanaga Bazaar railway station of Balasore district in Odisha.

The actor promised to provide free education and livelihood to the victims. He has also issued a helpline number for the purpose. Victim passengers of the Bahanaga mishap can contact him by messaging, a video post of Sood on his Instagram account said.

Worth mentioning, in one of the horrific tragedies, at least 288 passengers died and over 1,000 were injured when 21 coaches of Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train collided and derailed on Friday evening near Bahanaga Bazaar railway station in Odisha.
