The Odisha stormed into the semi-final after they thrashed Gujarat by 6-0 goals in the 20th Senior Women’s National Football Championship-2014 at Dibrugarh in Assam here on Sunday afternoon.

The state team, who qualified for the semi-final by virtue of their overall point tally, would play their last league match against Goa on Tuesday.

While Sakina Nisha and Swarnapriya Nayak scored two quick goals for their team in the 15th and 37th minutes in the first half, Anima Mallick, Sinulata Sahoo, Arati Anima Khadia and Sakina Nisha scored four goals in the 65th, 78th, 80th and 82nd minute respectively in the second half.

This was the fourth successive win for Odisha . Earlier, they had beaten Mizoram, Haryana and Karnataka.
