Bhubaneswar, Oct 24:

Unfazed by his suspension from the party, senior BJP leader Ashok Sahu once again took to the social media today to vent his anger against Odisha BJP president KV Singhdeo, whom he accused of suspending him “whimsically”.

Ashok Sahu 1“Asking the Party as why Modi effect in Odisha is getting diluted and introspect to examine defeat with wider margins in every successive election in Kandhamal, particularly when there is increase in voting pattern in rest of Odisha cannot be said to be an instance of indiscipline. For this, whimsically I have been placed under suspension by the state president,” said Sahu in his post on social media site Facebook today.

He said the BJP president took this drastic step with least regard to the norms of democracy- values that make the BJP a party with a difference.

“I will seek justice from Central leadership. I have come to the party leaving IPS and will continue in the party to uphold its ideals in the interest of my motherland,” said Sahu in his post.

After being suspended from the party on Thursday, the BJP leader had also hit out at the former ministers of the party for indulging in corruption while they were in power in the BJD-BJP coalition government.

The party had suspended Sahu for indiscipline and resorting to social media to carry on a campaign against the party leadership. The party has also issued show cause notice to Sahu asking him why he would not be expelled from the party for his indisciplined activities.
