TV actress ‘misbehaved’ with during Ratha Jatra in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: Television serial actress Mahika Sharma has alleged of being misbehaved by a group of people during Ratha Jatra in Odisha’s Puri.

Taking to photo and video sharing platform Instagram, the artist said that a group of people made fun of her while she was going for morning Aarti on the day of Ratha Jatra.

This apart, one of them pushed her and was about to slap her, she wrote in her Instagram post.

Speaking to a private regional news channel, Sharma said those who misbehaved with her were made to do sit-ups by policemen present there. Locals also told the wrongdoers to kneel for their behaviour, she said, adding that no police complaint was lodged by her in this regard.

The actress further said that security arrangement in Puri was good and appealed tourists to visit the pilgrim town.
