Two Odisha mins not to hoist tricolour, placed under quarantine

Bhubaneswar: Odisha ministers Niranjan Pujari and Padmanabha Behera designated for hoisting the national flag on Independence Day in Puri and Ganjam, respectively will not unfurl the tricolour, official sources said.

The two ministers have been advised for quarantine as a COVID-19 case was found to be in their close proximity during a meeting recently, sources said.

Collectors of Puri and Ganjam will hoist the national flag in their respective districts, sources added.
