Unable to bear husband’s death, Odisha woman dies of heart attack

Jajpur: Being unable to bear the agony of her husband’s death, a woman died of heart attack at Maheswarpur village in Odisha’s Jajpur district, last night.

According to reports, Udaynath Sarangi (62) of the village, who ran a shop in the locality, complained of illness following which he was taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.

However, the elderly man died of brain stroke at the hospital.

On hearing the news of Udaynath’s death, his wife Ambika (55) suffered a heart attack and breathed her last.

The two bodies were cremated at the village crematorium. A pall of gloom descended on the area after the tragic incident.
