Validity of season ticket expiring during lockdown extended

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has decided to extend the validity of season tickets which expired during the lockdown due to Covid pandemic.

The validity of season tickets has been extended for all categories of passengers. The period for extension of season tickets has been done to the extent of days lost on restoration of train services.

The decision came into effect from December 10, 2021.

“This has been incorporated in the system for extension of validity of season tickets expired during lockdown,” the Railways stated.
