Varsha Priyadarshini files police complaint against in-laws

Cuttack: In a fresh development in connection with the marital discord between actor and Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty and his wife and actress Varsha Priyadarshini, the latter yesterday filed a complaint with the Purighat police here alleging that her in-laws harassed her by snapping electricity connection in her room.

Earlier in December 2020, she had filed an FIR with the Purighat police alleging that her husband Anubhav Mohanty locked her in a room in his house at Nandi Sahi here.

Anubhav allegedly locked the room from outside and gave one of the keys to the security guard while keeping another with himself. Police later collected the key from the security guard and rescued Varsha by unlocking the room.
