Vehicles older than 15 years not be scrapped in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Non-transport vehicles which are more than 15 years old will not be scrapped in Odisha, informed State Transport Authority.

There is currently no such policy to scrap more than 15 year old vehicles. Owners of the vehicles can renew the Registration Certificate at RTO office, official sources said.

The validity of registration of transport vehicle is valid as long as its fitness certificate is valid, sources added.
