Bhubaneswar: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over six districts of Odisha. India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar issued Yellow Warning today for the next five days.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD centre said, “The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Balasore and thence southeastwards to Central Bay of Bengal.  The cyclonic circulation over Westcentral Bay of Bengal adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coast now lies over North and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal between 1.5 and 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height.”

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Jajpur and Cuttack.
