Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Babushaan made his first public appearance here today five days after a high-voltage drama involving his wife Trupti Satpathy and co-actor Prakruti Mishra in public glare.

A day after reaching Bhubaneswar from Chennai and meeting his parents at his residence at Jagannath Vihar in Baramunda area, Babushaan appeared before public from his balacony.

Accompanied by mother Aparajita Mohanty and his associates, Babushaan waved at fans and assured of addressing media soon.

"I am delighted that I am with my family. I will speak right things at right time," the actor told media persons from the balcony.

Actor Aparajita Mohanty also assured that her son will speak to media soon.

Sources said that police may record the statement of Babushaan in connection with a case lodged by his wife Trupti Satpathy against him and actress Prakruti Mishra. The actor has already moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail in the case.

Earlier, the Kharavela Nagar Police had interrogated Prakruti at her residence.
