[WATCH] Staff dancing inside ICU of Covid hospital in Odisha with critical patients around

Sambalpur: At a time when the country is battling against second wave of coronavirus pandemic, reckless attitude of some paramedics inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a government-run Covid hospital in Odisha has raised many eyebrows.

Dance of a male nurse amid cheers of his colleagues reportedly inside the ICU of VIMSAR hospital in Burla, where critical Covid patients are being treated, has lent credentials to the allegations of covid mismanagement in government-sponsored healthcare facilities. A video of the male nurse’s dance inside the ICU went viral on social media today.

In another video, another male nurse was seen holding hands of a woman patient with oxygen support and requesting her to make dance moves while lying in the bed.

Both the videos of paramedics dancing and cheering inside the ICU have stirred up a hornet’s nest.
