10 Forest personnel of Satakosia sanctuary test Covid positive
Bantala: As many as ten Forest personnel in the Satakosia sanctuary have tested positive for the COVID-19.
Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Subhendu Behera informed the Covid infected Forest personnel include Forester and Forest Guards of Raiguda and Purunakota forest areas of the sanctuary. While some of them have been undergoing treatment at the Angul District Headquarters Hospital, others are under home quarantine, Behera added.

Worth mentioning, the Satkosia sanctuary has been closed for visitors since April 2 in wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
As the Covid has spread among Forest personnel in the sanctuary, villagers are in a state of fear.
