13 Balashram Girls Traced To Bhubaneswar; Rescue Op On

Berhampur:  Alleging irregularities, as many as 13 girl inmates of Utkal Balashram under Gosaninuagaon police here escaped from the school hostel late last night.

As per latest information, location of the girls has been traced in Bhubaneswar and one of the 13 girls has been rescued. The Commissionerate Police has launched a search operation to locate the 12 others.  Besides, a team from Gosaninuagaon police has also left for Bhubaneswar to assist in the rescue operation, said an official of the Gosaninuagaon police station.

However, authorities of the residential school were not available to comment on the matter till last reports came in.
