Seven killed, three hurt in lightning in Odisha

Seven persons were killed and three others seriously injured when lightning struck different parts of Odisha this afternoon.

According to reports, three persons of Deula village in Nabarangpur district were killed while one person was killed and another seriously injured in lightning at Charada village under Binika block in Sonepur district.

In Sundargarh district, a woman of Sounamara village under Talsara police station limits was killed in lightning while in Kalahandi district, one person was killed and another person was seriously injured when lightning struck them at Jamunapur village of Karlamunda block.

In Sambalpur district, a woman was killed and another person seriously injured in lightning in Lath village under Kuchinda police station limits.
