RoB mishap in Odisha: Train services resume after restoration

Balasore: Movement of several trains, which was affected after beam of an under-construction railway overbridge (RoB) fell on track at Sobharampur in Odisha’s Balasore district yesterday, resumed last night after restoration work.

One of the six beams used for the RoB fell down snapping a live electric wire besides delaying movement of several trains plying through the route. More than 150 workers and officials of Railways were engaged in the restoration process, which was completed around 11 pm.

The South Eastern Railway effected changes in the schedule of some trains due to the incident.
