BJD suspends Koraput BYJD president

In a belated move, the BJD president and Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik today suspended the Koraput district Yuva BJD president Dharmendra Adhikari from the party for anti-party activities, said sources in the BJD.

Adhikari was specifically named in the complaint lodged by Congress candidate from Jeypore Taraprasad Bahinipati in connection with the murderous attack on his brother and nephew at a hotel room in Jeypore on April 11 past midnight.
