BNI Cricket Championship-2022: Team Swastik wins by 8 wickets

Bhubaneswar: Team Swastik was declared as the champion in BNI Cricket Championship-2022 recently held in Bhubaneswar.

The team led by Bibhuranjan Sahoo won the inter-chapter cricket match organised by Business Network International (BNI), world’s leading referral marketing organisation, by 8 wickets.

Five teams of BNI Bhubaneswar — BNI SmartC, BNI Supreme, BNI Samurai, BNI Swastik and BNI Solitaire — were clashing in the tournament played at Unit-6 Government Girl’s High School Ground, Bhubaneswar, on February 26, 2022.

All team members are a business entrepreneurs of Odisha. The final match was played between Team SmartC and Team Swastik.

In the final, SmartC scored 227 runs in 10 overs and Team swastika chased the target and won the match by 8 wickets. While Bibhuranjan Sahoo was skipper of Team Swastik, other players of the team included Dr. Sanjeeb Pradhan, Satya Prakash Singh, Rahul Jain, Santosh Senapati, Sudhiranjan Pattnaik, Jyoti Prakash Maharana, Col. SujanMohanty, SauravBetala, Amit Prakash Nayak, Rakesh Mohanty and Abhishek Jalan.

Runners Up Winner Team BNI SmartC was led by Bidhanchandra Pattnaik and his team members were Arun Surana, Varun Nanda, Jagmohan Periwal, Kaushal Dalmia, Atul Lath, Akshay Narula, Aditya Agarwal, Prashant Agarwal, Aakash Mishra, Deepak Agarwal, Bhakti Prasad Mahapatra, Priyadarshi Jain and Srikant Biswal.

In the tournament, Abhishek Jalan won the Best Fielder trophy, Arun Surana was declared the Best Batsman, Bibhuranjan Sahoo the Best Bowler winner and Rahul Jain became the Man of the Series.

The event was organised and successfully executed by Sakya Singh, Varun Nanda, Bidhanchandra Pattnayak and Anshuman Dehury. BNI Bhubaneswar appreciated their organising skills and their efforts and hard work resulted in a wonderful, well-coordinated, sporting event, a release stated.
