Brother-sister duo drowns in river in Odisha’s Gajapati

Mohana: Two siblings drowned in river while taking bath in Mohana area of Odisha’s Gajapati district today. The deceased have been identified as Soumya Sualsingh (6) and her brother Bishnu (3).

The mother of the duo had taken them to Domuhani river this morning for bathing. Unfortunately, they slipped into deep waters.

Though their mother rescued them and took the two to Mohana hospital, they were declared brought dead at the hospital. Police have started investigation into the incident after seizing the bodies.
