CBSE Class 10 results: Pass percentage in Bhubaneswar 96.46%

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the annual Class 10 Examination results in which the students pass percentage in Bhubaneswar stood at 96.46 this year.

While Trivandrum tops the list in terms of region-wise pass percentage with 99.68% followed by Bengaluru (99.22%) and Chennai (98.97%), Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar was placed 7th with students’ pass percentage of 96.46% in the list.

Other cities including Ajmer, Patna and Pune secured 4th, 5th and 6th positions respectively in the examination. The pass percentage in Ajmer was 98.14%, 97.65% in Patna and 97.41% in Pune.

The regions like Panchkula, Noida and Chandigarh were ranked 8th, 9th and 10th in the list with pass percentage of 96.33%, 96.8% and 95.38% respectively this year.

Total, 20,93,978 Class 10 students had appeared in the annual examination at 7,405 centres across the country this year, of which 19,76,668 (94.40%) successfully cleared the examination.
